Description
- For easy loading of DNA samples in agarose gels
- Contains Orange G & Xylene Cyanol FF as tracking dyes. In 1% agarose gel, OG runs at equivalent to ~70 bp DNA band and XC runs at equivalent to ~2800 bp DNA band
- Other commonly used sample loading dyes are dark blue color which makes the DNA sample invisible when blue light is on
- 5x buffer components: 25% (v/v) glycerol, 0.2% (w/v) Orange G, 0.025% (w/v) Xylene Cyanol in DI water
- Store at room temperature (15°C to 30°C)
- Stable for two years
